In this post, we’ll be looking at some alternate services search engines to Google. This list isn’t exhaustive, there are many out there, I’ve even seen some focused at leftists, and some focused at the right. Since I feel that knowledge should be free and not charged for, this post will unlock for my free readers at the end of the month.
Because I’m one that’s not necessarily not on the right or left, I’ll be looking at engines not on the left or right. I’ll also be looking for engines with no censorship and no logging of your searches (privacy focused). Privacy to me is a right, not a privilege.
First, we’ll look at some alternatives to their search engine. First up is Presearch. Presearch is a decentralized search engine that you earn crypto as you search. They don’t censor search results like Bing, DuckDuckGo, or Google, nor do they track your searches in any way. If you do decide to set them as your homepage, their start page is highly configurable. You can find them at: https://www.presearch.com
Next up is Gibiru, another privacy focused search engine. A centralized search engine, they don’t track your searches. Nor do they censor search results. If you do decide to set them as your start page, they’re not as configurable as Presearch. You can find them at https://gibiru.com/
